Aaron Sorkin is an American screenwriter, playwright and director known for A Few Good Men, The West Wing, and his Academy Award–winning screenplay for The Social Network. He wrote the 2015 film Steve Jobs, structured as three real-time scenes before product launches, and has been candid that its dialogue and confrontations are dramatized inventions rather than transcripts of real events.
