America’s Last Line of Defense (ALLOD) is, in Snopes’ description, “a network of Facebook pages and websites that has historically labeled its content as parody and satire.” Its posts carry a small logo with an “S” for satire, and the page’s own Intro section reads: “The flagship of the ALLOD network of trollery and propaganda for cash. Nothing on this page is real.” Those markings routinely fall off as the posts are screenshotted and reshared — which is exactly what happened here, and what happened with earlier ALLOD fabrications put in Michael Jordan’s mouth about student loans and about Colin Kaepernick.
