Charles Jay Sykes (born 11 November 1954 in Seattle) is an American author and political commentator. He hosted a conservative talk show on Milwaukee’s WTMJ from 1993 to 2016 and later served as editor-in-chief of The Bulwark. His books on American schooling include Dumbing Down Our Kids (1995) and 50 Rules Kids Won’t Learn in School (2007).
