Dwight Morrow

1873–1931 · American businessman, diplomat and US senator

Dwight Whitney Morrow (11 January 1873 – 5 October 1931) was an American lawyer and banker who became a partner at J. P. Morgan & Co. and then, from 1927 to 1930, United States ambassador to Mexico, where he helped mediate an end to the Cristero War and eased a long dispute over oil. He was elected to the US Senate from New Jersey in 1930 and died the following year. His daughter Anne married Charles Lindbergh.
