Marcus Bach

Marcus Bach (1901–1995) was an American religious scholar, dramatist and author who earned his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa’s interfaith School of Religion, where he was a professor from 1945 to 1964. A popular lecturer on world faiths and lesser-known religious movements, he wrote more than two dozen books, including Major Religions of the World and The Power of Perfect Liberty. His inspirational graduation lines circulated widely and were, over the decades, mis-credited to more famous names.
