Stephen M. R. Covey is the eldest son of 7 Habits author Stephen R. Covey, and led the family firm before merging it with Franklin Quest to create FranklinCovey. His own book, The SPEED of Trust (Free Press, 2006, written with Rebecca R. Merrill and carrying a foreword by his father), argued that trust is a measurable economic asset: where it is high, work moves faster and costs less.
