Widely printed as Galileo’s, and it does sound like him. But no primary source has been produced. Wikiquote keeps it in its “Attributed” section ↗ — the list for lines credited to him without a source — and offers a single citation: a 1999 business-inspiration book. We searched three of his major works ourselves and found nothing like it.
