Quote Investigator cites a U.S. Copyright Office catalogue of 1975 recording the name as a pseudonym for Claudia Adrienne Demilia, with a 1974 book, Riding on Gardenias Embracing Rainbows, credited to the pen name; a 1988 Connecticut newspaper described her as a sophomore at Manchester Community College reading her poetry. Her verse appeared in Blue Mountain Arts collections, the kind of greeting-card anthology through which an unsigned line can travel for years before anyone asks who wrote it.
