This one holds up. It was a spoken catchphrase rather than a line from any book Wooden wrote: his UCLA centre Bill Walton set it down as Wooden’s standing reply in the 1994 memoir Nothing But Net, and Quote Investigator ↗ documents Wooden using the identical words himself in The Indianapolis News of 28 March 1997. The wording that circulates uses a semicolon; every documented transcription uses a comma.
